Lol. Or you could get a LHD 1994 126p with 71,310 miles on the clock for £2,300.

Kinja'd!!!

About quarter the Oz price.

MUCH WANT, but major crackpipe unless it was an actual Aus-spec FSM Niki, which are quite rare as I understand it.

You can import a mint 126 straight from Poland to here in Canada for like...$6-7 CAD including shipping, etc...

I was going to get a later 126 ELX shipped straight from Poland....maybe I should just get one of you UK folks to find me a good one in Blighty! A lot of them seem in decent shape and relatively decent prices, and shipping from the UK would be cheaper than from Poland I would think...plus, I know Flavien has mentioned he has a contact there that could help with shipping and export...
:P

being LHD and badged as a Polski-Fiat means private import, all ours were RHD

Yeah, this one is definitely an import of course, I just meant I could semi-justifiably see a price that high had the car been a mint ACTUAL FSM Niki Aus-marketed model. :)

You’d probably have more range of 126 in Poland.

But carandclassic may be a good start and often they link through to other U.K. and European dealers and sellers.

https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/list/69/126/?page=2

as for shipping from the U.K..  I t’s easy to get cars from Poland to the U.K. for shipping to the U.S. as there are so any Polish travelling back and forward between the two countries.

Hell I may even be able to put out a few feelers if necessary with my Polish friends who have family all over central Europe (mainly Germany and Poland).

Hmm, I may have to keep that in mind! I just don’t know if shipping to the UK and then shipping to Canada would be the same, more or less cost effective than shipping straight from Poland to here!

Another method would be to have someone find a car. Once one is found, you pop across and check the car before you buy, drive the car for a day(it can be done with minimal stops) or take two or three days and take in some scenery driving it through to a U.K. port, stick it in a container or roll-on roll-off ferry, fly back to Canada and then wait to receive in in the Canadian port.

Another option maybe to join a Fiat car club, check out if anyone else is wanting to wanting to share the cost of a container from Poland. You should be able to get two in a 2 0" container or four in a 4 0" container with some spares.

Joining a Fiat car club would be highly advantageous not only in having like minded friends to go drive with but may be able to say where best to look, how to get the best price, be able to recoup some of the container costs by adding other members parts and accessories into the unit.
